Compensation after slip & fall in holiday cottage bathroom

This holiday accident claim followed an accident in the bathroom of a country cottage.

The cottage was somewhat unusual. Some extension work had been carried out, and the bathroom was on two levels - with a steep step between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom.

Our client was stepping out of the shower when he slipped and fell on the edge of the step, landing quite painfully.

Anticipating that this would be a difficult case to pursue, he he asked Dominic Goward & Co. to make the claim on his behalf.

We were able to demonstrate that the bathroom was in fact unsafe, and our client was awarded £2,580.00 in compensation.

As with all cases we deal with, our own legal fees were covered separately, so our client received his compensation in full.
